    MONETARY SYSTEM
As per the fairy tail universe, our site uses jewels as their currency. Jewels can be used to purchase 90% of all available items and so forth available at shops or they can be used to purchase the ‘raw materials’ to create your own custom items. DO NOT COPY ALREADY EXISTING SPECIAL ITEMS UP FOR SALE YOU DEVIANT LITTLE WIPPERSNAPPERS!

    How to get jewel:

    Job Guidelines
In this universe, mages get their money through jobs posted on their guild's mission board. These missions range in rank, and can be anything from cleaning a barn, to defeating an entire dark guild. The rank of the mission determines how many Jewels you can get for completing it. Refer to the list below for the values:

    D-rank missions: 1 jewel – 100 jewel
    C-rank missions: 101 Jewel – 500 Jewel
    B-rank missions: 501 Jewel – 1,000 Jewel
    A-rank missions: 1,001 jewel – 5,000 Jewel
    S-rank missions: 5,001 Jewel – 10,000 Jewel

You can find jobs in the job section, where you can either create a job for yourself or your team, or you can take a job either staff or another member created that is open for you to.  There are 2 types of jobs: Repeatable and Non-Repeatable Repeatable are jobs that can be redone endlessly. They can be confined to only one guild, or they can be open to everybody. Non-Repeatable jobs are jobs created for one use only, and cannot be used except by the member who created it, or another member if the creator of the job gives them the right to.

Jobs can also be geared towards Light Guilds, Independent/Neutral Guilds, and Dark Guilds. Generally, the types of jobs will be different depending on which Guild Type it's geared for.

When creating a job, please make sure to label it correctly. If it is Non-Repeatable, please put [NP] in the title. If it is for only one guild, put that guild in the title, for example [Animus Sin]. As long as it is defined between repeatable, non-repeatable, and whether it's confined to a certain group or not, it makes it much easier for those looking for jobs to find them.

there is no 'irl money' involved. It's just a reference the majority will understand.

Also considering how common 1000 jewel bills seemed to be in the anime when money was actually shown. I can only assume this as much. Also the ft wiki page was my only reference.

Honestly that really doesn't matter, the money system is far too high, items will be high priced which will throw new members off, change it to something more reasonable as this literally will be an issue in the near future. I have seen many a site pull something like this and each one failed

It's based off of a Japanese anime. Those numbers are perfectly reasonable, and if somebody can't connect that the numbers are directly from FT and are what the mangaka has been using regularly, then they obviously haven't heard Lucy complain about her rent enough.

Hm... I believe we need to take them out. I have no objections to receiving irl money (Onion 23) but there's no point to it being there. Cause, unless we do a whole 'irl money' shop type of thing, the USD comparison isn't needed at all.

feel free to rewrite as you like. :p Mission numbers stay though I actually tested those. Unless you plan on using different values of worth making jewel more valuable then in this scenario. Then you need to redo all the numbers. My eloquence and ability to do stuff is limited from here on out. Baring Stats and ranks my abilities are limited from here on out, school takes priority.

Deleted the comparisons. Now, if no one has a problem with the mission things, this is good to go.

Comparison is always used to help people better understand the value of the money. Nobody ever said we were USING real money.

I'm not for using this style of money system, 1 jewel=1 jewel we aren't gonna make it overly priced this is non canon using the anime as an example being that it is canon is a terrible excuse.

I'm not using comparisons. There's no need for it as we aren't using IRL money. What's the point if we do? Again, is this good to go out the door?

So, this is using the monetary system as it is now, for the cash you get for jobs. I'll start making some random repeatable jobs soon.

    D-rank missions: 1 jewel – 100 jewel
    C-rank missions: 101 Jewel – 500 Jewel
    B-rank missions: 501 Jewel – 1,000 Jewel
    A-rank missions: 1,001 jewel – 5,000 Jewel
    S-rank missions: 5,001 Jewel – 10,000 Jewel

    Changing to:

    D-rank missions: 250 jewels
    C-rank missions: 750 Jewels
    B-rank missions: 2,250 Jewels
    A-rank missions: 6,750 Jewels
    S-rank missions: 20,250 Jewels
    SS-rank missions: 60,750 Jewels

I have been tasked with doing the shop and as such I need exact numbers to do calculations to make ship prices competitive but fair and mission rewards is a bit part of it, im posting this here so I don't seem like an ass just changing what you made.

The new mission rewards have been calculated as such. To make it worth it to do D rank missions for D ranks, the reward is 3 times the amount of a single posts (50 per post.)jewel gains. Starting with D rank rewards, 250 x 3 = 750, 750 x 3 = 2250, 2250 x 3 = 6750 etc. (hopefully you get the point by now)

Jewel gains per RP post: 50 jewels .
Jewel gain per RP thread start: 75 jewels.

Because of this change, numbers and prices will be adjusted according so that the shops have fair and balanced prices. Credit to Ðragon for helping with the prices.
