Description of Weapon
Shūki is a half foot long, .5 inch wide, and 1 inch thick dagger,
Abilities of the Weapon
Name: Poison Blade
Rank: S-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: 250 meters
Appearance: Selenia swings the blade, creating a blade of poison which shoots forth at the enemy. The blade is purple and the same dimensions as Shūki, a half foot long, .5 inch wide, and 1 inch thick dagger,
Description: Poison Blade does poison S-Rank damage and moves at an S-Rank speed. It has a maximum of a five post duration, six post cooldown max.
Extra: Shūki is always coated in poison; this spell simply forms it into a solid form for ranged damage.
Poisoned Blade: Since Shūki is always covered in poison, any physical strike will release poison into the enemy, dealing B-Rank damage for four posts. This has a five post cooldown in which the venom has to regenerate around the blade.
Quick Blade: Selenia’s speed is boosted by two ranks for five posts with a six post cooldown while she wields this blade.
Weaknesses of the Weapon
-Small Weapon: Shūki is small, and therefore not useful when it comes to fighting enemies with bigger weapons. This prevents Selenia from using it for defense against weapons that are of medium or large types.
-Selenia’s speed means nothing if she can’t land a strike, which is very hard to do with the limited reach the weapon gives her. A larger weapon would be much harder for the enemy to dodge.
-Poison is not effective unless it is inserted into the enemy; it cannot break through the skin on its own.
Backstory of The Weapon
Shūki was an enemy’s blade that Selenia took as spoils of war. It nearly killed her, but she was able to recuperate in time to keep from dying from the deadly poison the dagger is able to emit. Selenia uses Shūki mainly for fights in which she needs to match an anemy’s speed, especially when they wield small weapons and can get past her main melee weapon, Saiki. That said, Selenia will use this to her advantage if she needs to poison an enemy, and thanks to the speed boost it gives she is able to get from it she also uses it whenever she needs to speed up. The speed boost works by the effects of the poison, which Selenia absorbs through the handle, but which have been changed to become beneficial to her. Anyone else who tries to touch the dagger will have poison flow into them instantly, with or without a cut.
Extra
Shūki’s deadliness is known to most of Fairy Tail’s members, and they won’t pick it up since they already know how deadly it can be.
