I was going to suggest that we have the general timeline and plot be set during the Guild Wars era depicted in Fairy Tail Zero. Sadly, that wouldn't really work since none of the sites existing guild's, with the exception of Fairy Tail and Tartarus, existed during that era.

Meaning one thread after another with characters who know about the "plot" IC. We RP it out, have the characters reflect on the current world in great detail and we put sprinkles on top.
